Cindy Lunsford, Owner and Bikram Yoga Instructor

Before moving to Saratoga Springs as a new attorney, Cindy had practiced Bikram Yoga regularly for 3 years.  After arriving in Saratoga, and discovering no hot yoga in the area or nearby vicinity, Cindy was forced to forego her yoga practice for almost 3 years.  Upon realizing the importance of the yoga to her life and her well-being, she decided to take a hiatus from the practice of law to attend the 9 week intensive Bikram Yoga Teacher Training.  After graduation, Cindy completed her 6-month apprenticeship in her home town of Louisville, Kentucky and Northampton, Massachusetts.  Cindy and her husband, Kenny Hoskins, intend to stay in Saratoga Springs to raise their new studio and their new family.

Judy 2

Judy Erlich, Bikram Yoga Instructor

After moving to California in 1997, Judy went with a friend to her first yoga class.  Between 1997 and 2002, she experimented with many different yoga styles but never really found one that kept her coming back.  In Spring of 2002 she was introduced to Bikram Yoga.  She found that the yoga room was the only place where her mind found a sense of peace and quiet.  She had many years of fighting a work/life balance and this style of yoga could always bring her back to her center.  In the summer of 2006 she attended a retreat in Napa where one of the questions asked was “If you died tomorrow would you be happy and fulfilled with your life the way it is?”.  This led to her leaving the corporate world and going to Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in the Fall of 2006 in Los Angeles.  After training, she proceeded to teach in CA and NV for Bikram Yoga Sierras.  Life took her to Salt Lake City where she managed and taught at the Sugarhouse studio, as well as Sandy and Ogden UT.  She has lived in upstate New York for about a year and looks to forward to the opportunity of sharing her love of yoga with students in Saratoga Springs.

Charlie Hubbard, Bikram Yoga Instructor

Competing in triathlons – running, swimming and cycling – led Charlie to Hatha Yoga in 1999 as a way of gaining flexibility.  After discovering Bikram Yoga in 2003 Charlie attended Bikram’s teacher training in the spring of 2005 and has since devoted himself to the practice and teaching of the Bikram system.  Charlie owned and operated Bikram Yoga Northampton in Massachusetts for five years, selling the studio in January of 2010.  He now travels world wide, including Bikram’s teacher training,  teaching and practicing Bikram’s series of twenty six postures.  Charlie is a retired Lieutenant of the New York City Fire Department, holds an MA in Psychology and is a New York State EMT.
